Curb Appeal
Begin with the outside of your house, better known as your curb appeal. Examine the outside of your house from a street perspective. What jumps out at you? What would've-been-eye-catching characteristics seem waiting to be noticed?
Acknowledging this helps us to decide what steps we can take to invite buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with refreshed paint and bright garden plants it's time to get those things done. Follow the Curb Appeal Checklist and raise your home's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Could a buyer see themselves hanging out in your living area, unwinding in your spa tub or studying in your home office? We want your home to welcome buyers and give them a sense of contentment. I'll help you accomplish this by suggesting changes that enhance your home's features.
I'll suggest that you eliminate anything that gives the impression of clutter. Tabletops should be neatly arranged. Kitschy sculptures, souvenirs, family photos, and kids' drawings should get moved out of sight. We need to "neutralize" the place so buyers can imagine it as their new place.
Every room gets a once-over. Improvements that directly affect your sale price include fixable like furniture pieces that should get rearranged, rooms that need fresh paint, carpet that needs steaming, fixtures that need shining, and windows that need washing
We'll make sure your home is likable and that it's inviting, steering clear of "loud" or "personalized" shades on the walls and furniture. And if you've already moved out, you can think about temporary furniture. The goal is for your home to look lived in as opposed to bare and uninhabited.

Setting the Stage
I'll tell you when you're ready to show your home, because everything comes together to set the stage for what buyers can look forward to after they close on your house. To eliminate shadows critical and we'll open curtains, and reduce shadows where needed to invite the buyer inside. We'll enhance the air of the house with enjoyable music playing softly and assure a pleasing scent flows throughout your home. We'll incorporate cozy-looking blankets, and place pillows on your sofa and bed. Buyers should feel like your current house has the potential to be. |
